Ciara has an excellent style in her album The Evolution. This single title track, "Like A Boy" has to be one of my all time favorites for the theme of how the double standard of men being able to get away sometimes seems to be on high. Ciara sings great, her attitude in the vocals show that she is ready to take on the R&B industry by storm with her music.

The "Main" (3:57) "Like A Boy" version has the catchy beats, addictive hooks, but most of all the excellent lyrics! While guys can play the game and make some girls feel guilty truth be told this song sets the record straight! Sometimes the rules can be reversed. The funky musical beats are definitely a combination of R&B, hints of crunk, hip-hop, and dance.

The "Instrumental" (3:57) "Like A Boy" is the same as the previous track but excludes the lyrical content/singing by Ciara. This track is good for fans that like to sing.

This is a worthwhile CD for the days of not being in the club moods. While her other single features a dance song and a non-album U.S. track this one is nice to hear on the days when you are not in those party club moods.
