Luis Mejia (son) - So, Air Supply's breakthrough era ends a little bit quickly with the release of their last platinum album to score: Now And Forever. Although the album keeps around some harsh critics in things like being indifferent and boring, this may be a little bit true but its still Air Supply in their best expression, a very sincere and melodic pop with certain highlights. Most of the compositions sound as a whole, making many pieces appear unoriginal and sappy, but, as in every Air Supply album, there are a few songs that become legendary and emotional, in this case these are the most famous "Even The Nights Are Better", #2 billboard hit, its one of Air Supply most memorable songs and one that fits into pop masterpieces, it keeps a very little disco feeling and one of their best romantic features, while "Two Less Lonely People In The World" peaked at #13, its one of their most melodic songs with a feeling very close to "Lost In Love", I'm also aware that the song became a wedding anthem. Apart from this two, the remainings are somewhat slick and without recognizeable melodies but still fabulous pices, even the orchestral "Young Love" became a minor hit, while "Now And Forever", "Taking The Chance" and "Come What May" are minor picks.
