This pretty Canadian is back with a Honky-Tonk-bar-tequila-and-whisky album. All in all a perfect blend of traditional and more modern tunes, very fashionable at the moment, as in "Life Goes On" the album's hit. I fell for "Cowboy Days" giving plenty of room to instruments and first-class musicians like Glenn Worf on the bass, Brent Mason on the guitar, Paul Franklin on the steel guitar or Stuart Duncan on the fiddle. A band we really feel like listening to. With well-composed and rhythmical items and we find ourselves caught in the atmosphere of a saloon. Also the superb "Honky Tonk Song" or the splendid ballad "Traveling Soul". A rich and varied repertoire led by a powerful voice of which I am not a big fan though. Well, that's true, I regret that the vocal melodies on the more rhythmical songs tend to sound very much the same. It's a pity, but still, Terry Clark has managed to make herself known along the years as a great name of country music. It's no wonder then that Terry was chosen as the best female singer at the French Country Music Awards in 2003. She is reaching musical maturity and will no doubt stay on top of the charts.
