Personally I (being a huge fan of KoRn) love this cd. NO, not because i'm just a fan of the band and i'm obligated to love all of their music.
I personally like this cd because it well, has the live cover song "One" on it.
Hopefully KoRn will make a studio cover of "One" and put it on the new album, that would be pretty sweet, but it's not likely to happen.:(
Also hopefully they will re release every song Jonathan Davis did for the Queen of the Damned soundtack, remaster them all, have him do them all, and put them on the cd as well. (THAT would be worth the probably 20 bucks worth of cd, itself!)
That too, is highly unlikely to happen.
But yes, the cover of "One" is the real treat on this cd, it makes the cd worth while to listen to. I think they do it better than Metallica. It's only flaw is well...it's live. :/
"Did My Time" is also a great song, but when listened to enough, it will get annoying and you may grow to hate it, so yeah...don't listen to it so much!
The "Did My Time" remix...is GREAT! I don't see what other reviewers problems are, this remix is just sheer greatness! It adds onto the original giving it extended leingth. And, a more techno feel to it. Much like the "Here To Stay" remix from Untouchables, this a damned good remix!
The mix may or may not ever get old to you, so it's possible to listen to it many times and not get sick of it, depending on who you are and if you like techno or not.
All in all, this is a great single, I hope the new album due in November (Originally in October..~what the hell happened to that?~) is as good as this single!
