This album shocked me. I was a fan of Lisa Lisa's pop-dance sound from the mid to late 80s (I Wonder If I Take You Home, Head to Toe, etc) but I was totally blown away with this album. There are cool C & C produced dance tracks(Let The Beat Hit Em and Something About Love are the standouts) but there are also amazing soul vocals by the woman that cut to the heart (Don't Say Goodbye and a fantastic take on the Isley Brothers' Sensuality).If you are a Lisa Lisa fan and this isn't part of your collection, it should be. BUY IT!
