I will agree with some people that this is the best Lit album but, I think that nothing can change "A Place In The Sun" from being the GREATEST! My dad introduced me to these guys in '99. Plus bassist Kevin Baldes lived only a street away from my dad. That's how my dad heard about these guys, plus his niece introduced them to him. But anyway, enough of the reasons how I got into these guys. I saw Lit in concert with No Doubt in August of 2000 and they rock live! They said that they were working on a new album, but it took a year to come out! I love these guys! They are the best bubble-gum rock group out there. This music always makes me happy! I have all 3 albums, ...[the first one] is terrible. Its just not as great. They improved on A Place In The Sun, and now they are new and improved on "Atomic"! I got this CD the day it came out and I just cranked this thing up and rocked out to it. The CD sampler isn't much to talk about besides the fact that it has Lit performing "Four" from A Place In The Sun live. I was actually shocked that Lit was on 2 (2!) soundtracks this year. The song "Everything's Cool" was on "Orange County: The Soundtrack" and "Happy In The Meantime" is on the "Mr. Deeds" soundtrack. Both of those songs is on this CD. "HITM" on the Mr. Deeds soundtrack was actually a remix, but I haven't noticed a difference. I think this is one of the best songs on the soundtrack. Lit is what I would like to call "college dorm room music". It's party music really. Most of the songs are about partying at night and the morning after. But hey, these guys rock! Check this CD out. Buy "A Place In The Sun" with this. But spare yourself the pain of "Tripping The Light Fantastic" it really [is bad]!
