Much better than most Greatest Hits compilations - in fact, this has more substantial material than even Madonna's second Greatest Hits Compilation (GHV2).

This probably isn't going to get many positive credits because `Mandy Moore' as a name is perhaps known more for teen-pop, unfortunately. Many gems are strewn throughout this stellar CD. The early hits from the late 1990s, such as "Candy" and "Walk Me Home" which still sound fresh and invigorating, share space with her slower songs like "I Wanna be with You".

Many songs off "Coverage" are included - my personal favorite being her cover of "Senses Working Overtime" and "Can we still be friends?". The production on these songs are impeccable. Mandy's much neglected soundtrack songs, such as "Cry" and "Only Hope" (both exceptionally beautiful songs from "A Walk to Remember") are found here.

The best things here are from Mandy's self titled album from the early 2000s - this was a huge critical success and commercial failure at the time, but it contained many of her best tracks - the Kylie Minogue-inspired "In My Pocket", and the huge TRL hit "Crush".

That said, its amazing how many actual hit singles this girl has. For some reason, shes huge in Australia, and most of these songs charted there.

If you're debating whether an artist as `new' as Mandy Moore needs a greatest hits collection, well think again. She has been around for eight long years in the music business, and almost every song by her is an occasion to remember.

I would suggest buying this instead of downloading it, due to its' probable prominence on your stereo. Guaranteed, you will wear your copy out within weeks.
