This is a great album CD. I have not heard the remastered version but it's sound quality should be even better than the original version. Of the 12 original songs, eleven are four to five stars. Only one song on it I don't really care for: "Space Child" (2 stars) But with 11 great songs there is more than enough here to earn a solid 5 stars.
While there is enough rock music to satisfy most rockers, there are also a lot of compositional changes so that it doesn't get boring or too repetitious. The Moody Blues, Beatles, early Styx, Kansas, all come to mind if I was trying to describe what this album sounds a bit like. I would say that this album is in my Top 30 albums of all time. Definitely a great album, one of the best.
