It displays his talents more than the radio-friendly Livin' La Vida Loca and Shake Your Bon Bon, and the sappy She's All I Ever Had. It also captures the raw, realistic passion that is more apparent in the ballads on his previous 2 Spanish language albums ("A Medido Vivir" and the Grammy-winning "Vuelve").

"Private Emotion" is a ballad wrought with emotion and poetic lyrics. It is one of the most adult love songs on the radio right now, which is cluttered with the teenage love troubles of Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys and the lot. Meja's voice compliments Ricky's as they both truly sound like pained lovers. Buying this single will be money well spent, and prove to any doubters that with good material Martin will be one of the premiere U.S. pop singers of the next decade.
