This is how I first knew of the Pointer Sisters. This was bought for my birthday when I was 12. I love this album. I remember I'd just seem then in 1976's Car Wash and they relesed this album shortly afterwards in 1977. I loved the wukka wah wah soul funk sound. I associated it with background music in Starsky & Hutch. Songs like I'll get By Without You & Don't It Drive You Crazy leap of this album in all their wah wah glory. Although I continued to buy all their music over the years, it was this album, Steppin and BreakOut that remain my fvourites.
