the strokes are the best band ever. they have some sort of driving force powered by albert hammonds backup nick valensi's solos nikolais complex bass lines and fabs beautiful drumming. julian casablancas came out of his melodic tone voice which we so loved in "is this it" and "room on fire" in "First Impressions of Earth".Juicebox shows julian can bring his voice wherever it needs to go. I saw them live in atlanta and they played "ask me anything" which was better than the cd. this album has some catchy songs such as "you only live once" "heart in a cage" and "red light".First Impressions has a sort of acquired taste that requires listening to their first and second cds so if uve just started listening to the strokes buy "is this it" and "room on fire" due to the fact that you are bound to fall in love with the melodic, wonderful, band that is The Strokes
