I'll just start off by saying that "You Only Live Once" is in my opinion the greatest Strokes song by far. I cannot even describe in words how much I love this song. It is perfectly crafted in every way possible, and never fails to put me in a good mood. Mercy Mercy Me, the b-side to this single is also a joy to listen to and offers a different take on the Marvin Gaye classic. The vocal interplay between Julian and Eddie Vedder is great and is similar to "Modern Girls and Old Fashion Men", the b-side to Reptilia, which featured dual vocals by Julian and Regina Spektor. I highly recommend this single to anyone who enjoys great music and a good time. A classic!
