I own both of these recordings on vinyl and just clicked to buy them on CD. I place Wire Train alongside the Dream Syndicate as one of the most unjustly overlooked bands of the 1980s. This album is of uniform excellence. There are virtually no "filler" cuts on either album. If you like tight, complex rythyms that don't sound like club music and chirpy guitar stylings, you will enjoy this. The vocals are murky and mixed down, but not as obscure as REM's Michael Stipe. Try it, it's only a few bucks.
