I have the same opinion of this video that I have of all of the "On the Road" videos from Daughtry. I absolutely LOVE that he is THE SAME man he was on "American Idol". Chris had my vote from the very beginning based on his talent alone. But, when they did the segment on he and his family and how important they were to him and how supportive they all were to him in his career choice, he became the ultimate "idol" symbol that so many of our young kids need today.

You don't have to be in a Christian rock band to be a good role model for the kids today. You just have to be the kind of person that kids look up to and want to emulate and Chris is that person.

The fact that he and his band mates take the time out to do these video blogs for their fans is testament to the fact that they all walk the walk and are doing everything they can to stay grounded in what's important in life while following their dreams. I love that Chris talks about his wife, without hesitation or worry that his female fan base would be tainted. This is the attitude that all "stars" should have. Our talents are special and some of us get really lucky to be able to make an incredible living from our talents, but at the end of the day we are all the same: hardworking, caring people who have the same basic needs in life.

They make great music and they show the general public that they really are just like the rest of us only with an amazing talent to put out great music and have been blessed with the opportunity to do so, and with these blogs they are showing the world that they care enough about their fans that they want to take them on the journey with them.

Very impressive in the "world of make-believe" that these guys are holding on to their roots and making us all believe that you don't have to leave yourself behind in order to grab that big brass ring. They are a special group of guys who take their roles in life seriously. They understand that they are role models to the kids buying their music and they aren't hiding behind their fame or using it to make excuses for poor behavior.

By far one of the most impressive bands in America today.
