Touching,delicate,deep,not only from the throat and the heart,but also from the womb - it is kind of hard to put down in words all feelings aroused by Anjani's rendention of The Mist.Sublime might be the word. Doubtlessly hers is a woman's voice - physically and emotionally speaking. Anjani has been able to show a woman's best as she was able to be and show herself in all her womaness - this profoundly feminine gift we all share.

feels like a silk stocking sliding up your leg. Her heart is on the sleeve of that lovely vintage gown- she exudes so much class, a romantic figure in an unromantic time.
As for her lyricist and producer and lover, well, Leonard Cohen is THE man.
In his dapper suit, as they waltz they invoke another ear, not only because they are super imposed on a gala night, but because as artists and individuals they are unique and classy.
I am biased! A very long time Leonard Cohen fan his music has sustained me through many years of sorrow and I supposed I have "loved" him in my way since I was a little girl. I am so happy they have truly found each other. I saw them together in Toronto, Canada last year- I had the priviledge- at like many there, I was crying in joy and community- truly souls can unite like ectoplasm- her ethereal vocals and gently beauty- well I could go on and on- to all who bother to read this- I apologize for spelling- bad day and too lazy to get my dictionary.
To anybody who doesn't own her album, Blue Alert, BUY IT.
You will be entertained, made sweetly sad, but not morbidly depressed and you will also experience a higher plane and see visions of another time, another place, another lover of your own.

Perfect voice, great song ( 5 stars) but a mediocre video.
This song should have deserved a much better "mise en scène".
Reccommandation: by the CD but forget about the video.
