My dad died Sept. 2005. I had not heard the song until just after we lost him. The first time I heard it I was in tears by the end of it. My dad was the greatest, he left us and I know he wouldn't have wonted us to cry for him but when someone dies that was as great as my dad was it could not be helped. It still hurts more than any pain I have ever felt. Thanks Brad for such a great song
I love this song, reminds me of my parents who passed away!

My brother-in-law died on December 19,2006 and we played this song at his funeral. I listen to it every morning when I get up and it makes me cry everytime. Brad Paisley's music has great meaning to it. I wish for this song to be played at my funeral also.
