This video masterfully portrays the heart-wrenching, intense emotional effects of losing someone. It captures the audience from the very beginning. Carrie’s wonderful acting and singing, and the incredible use of lighting, imagery and transitions, enables the audience to experience the same emotions being portrayed, such as the love, joy and happiness, and then pain, sorrow and emotional devastation of the loss. (How many didn’t shed even one tear???)
Roman kept the focus on the intense emotional aspect (primarily Carrie), and kept much, if not all, of the video in a dream-like state. Brilliant! The audience can certainly relate to the video and may interpret things differently, based on their life experiences. It is certainly a video that you want to watch again and again.

Christine Park
Undoubtedly the Number 1 video and song of 2008 - this song pays tribute to the soldiers and marines serving in the US Army and the wives and families they leave behind. It is indescribably poignant and spiritual, and I honestly believe this could be an anthem for all time. It is another significant triumph for Carrie and puts her head and shoulders above all others as the pre-eminent female country vocalist of the 21st century. Carrie is more than a dream, she is a life-force so powerful that her voice reaches into your soul to remind you of your spirituality and vulnerability. It takes your breath away. A truly God given talent.
Like Carrie this video and song are timeless. She is up there with some of my favorites, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Reba. Her voice will be remembered for all of time. Like them she has a unique sound of her own. LOVE THIS SONG, heart felt and perfect for where we are at this moment in time.
This video is too sad for me...i cried..

Just A Dream
I have loved Miss. Underwood since I heard her on American Idol. The first time I heard her sing on that show I looked at my kids and said she is it! There is no other like her and this song proves it. Really makes you feel for those who lose loved ones that way. My heart and prayers go out to all the service men and women and their families. God Bless Carrie and hope to see you in concert one day!!
