I was amazed to see how bad music nowadays is! Horrible song only beaten by its annoying video! Pointless!!!

"Sideways" set the bar quite high. This one is hard to compare. It maintain's Cope's style but does not so closely exhibit his undeniable talent in making such poignant music.

I have always loved Citizen Cope from the moment i heard his first album and single with Santana. Between a bullet and a target has always been great and Cope's voice always reminds me of listening to my mother's Colombian albums. this music video does not disappoint. from the opening to the end i sit transfixed tot he beat, unable to take my eyes off the video and ignoring every other sound. again Cope is able to weave a story with his music and voice. the reason that this is not perfect is simple. there now a-days seems to a trend of music videos being exactly the same. i mean i can stand a few of them with a guy walking and singing. its ok, but its not exactly the most original, that bothers me, also i can't place my finger on it but for some reason i feel a little underwhelmed a few minutes after listening to it, in fact just writing the review is enough time for me to second guess myself. Yes its good but its not enough for me to make it perfect; maybe if i listen to it for another hour or so when i can really eat up every word then i will be content but until then its good but not perfect.
