I have always enjoyed this artist, she is truly "so unusual" her talent is awesome. Gene Pitney would have been proud of her remake. Truly powerful voice. One of my very favorites.

When I first listened to this version of "I'm gonna be strong" I was taken aback. It was beautifully done by, to my surprise, Cyndi Lauper. She sang it so well and so emotionally it became the number one song on my iPOD. Well done Cyndi...well done.

I never knew that Cyndi Lauper could hit notes like that!! This has become my new favorite song. All I can say is "WOW"

SHE IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE SINGER. TO THINK THAT IN THE LATE 70'S, DOCTORS TOLD HER THAT SHE WOULD NEVER SING AGAIN. WELL, SO MUCH FOR THAT DIAGNOSIS!!!

Lets see if any other singer can hold a note for as long as she does at the end of the song. This version is great.

This has always been a classic by the late Gene Pitney....and she has found a way to bring justice to his memory....to the power of his voice..thru her voice...well done
