You gotta shake the "hood rat" mentality. You are so talented yet the musical choices you're making keep screaming "GHETTO". How many of your mainstream (white and black fans) wanna hear songs with lyrics like "Baby Mama" or "Hood Boy". Please shake your marketing company because you won't be around in 5 years. You're beautiful, talented and have so much to offer but somehow you keep singing garbage. Let's get some songs which really reflect your talent (more Broadway tunes like "Summertime"). She folks how diverse you are...I know you've got it, we're just not seeing it.

By the way, I cringed when I read all the lyrics to this song "...hood boy...wifebeater and jeans". I know wifebeater is slang for a t-shirt but how can you sing these lyrics? You DO know the origin of the term wifebeater don't you? It was named after those t-shirts because most guys who beat their wives or girlfriends have been hauled off to jail wearing them! As a survivor of domestic violence yourself and the mother of a precious girl, how can you sing a song glorifying this type of thug-wear???

Again, I don't think it's you...but the folks behind you keep picking garbage. Shake 'em off and find some classier people to promote your career!
