You can't restrict a creative band like Incubus to one type of music. They are continually growing and evolving. Just because they have a different sound than ten or more years ago doesn't mean they're not still creative or innovative. It just means they're not looking to reproduce themselves over and over again and sound stale. So what if they're not doing distortion or funk? They still have raw, kick-ass power in a lot of their tracks, and now they're also exploring the more tender, introspective stuff as well. That is wonderful, NOT a sell-out. Their music is growing as they are, and reflects their intelligence and heightened musicianship. This song is really awesome, as is all of Light Grenades.

Vocals and melody are soaring and fresh! Kind of "wish you were here...ish"

I am an older musician and music lover, I have to say I don't listen to a lot of new music, but I heard this song on the radio one day driving home and I couldn't get it out of my head.
I have since heard all of the music from "light grenades" and am definitly a fan of the creativity this band shows, I may even try and see them live if ever I get the chance.
I have renewed faith that there is still some good original music being produced in this modern era of racket music.
