I think it was a great choise to have this song as the first single from her album! It´s such a happy song, and she is showing the world that despite all the hard things she´s gone through lately she is still a positive person who likes to have fun with or without a man by her side! I think this song just says it all its so brill and jessica looks beautiful as ever as usual, she is now so strong since her and nick have been devoiced. I will admit that i do think its a shame that they have and when i seen it in the papers i did cry as i think and still do think that they looked and was perfect together and nick doesnt look right with anyone else but jessica. Am sorry this is just my view on it all i would love it if i picked up the paper and they were back together that would just be so lovely! I actually remember disco and roller disco. It was more oppulent and extravagant than Jessica Simpson portrays. However, that is not so important. What is important is that the song captures the attitude and energy from that time. "Go outside the box, and put the rules on hold" is a very disco attitude. It was designed for bored office workers in the 1970's. People would dress up and go to the discotheque. "First-class plans for the evening"... also very disco. I think she did a great job blending old and new.
