Love the song. #1

Sometimes with all the Jessica Simpson / Jennifer Aniston dating, the comedy videos and the other celebrity stuff, you can forget that he's such an awesome guitarist. This isn't the best example of it (I think I could play that song on guitar, and I totally suck), but if you pick up the DVD that this is from ("Where The Light is - Live in Los Angeles)" you will be blown away.

A mic and guitar is all that's needed for this artist to put on a great show. John Mayer provides a powerful performance free of flashing lights, fancy costumes, choreographed moves or an extravagent stage. Simple, yet striking. Simply striking!

Sometimes you just want to strip away all the nonessential layers of instrumentation and electronics and get back to the basics. Guitar and vocals. It can be very revealing, and with a guy like JM it really showcases his talent as a performer. Great stuff, Tom would be proud.
