It is the best song ever because it tells the truth about the world we live in. Right on, man!

Anyone who has ever been involved in politics knows the lyrics are very true. Even if you don't wait for the world to change and take a stand, everything you do to change it is twisted and controlled by the powers that be. You end up looking like the "bad" guy. Until there's enough people willing to make that change come about, all you can do is wait for the world to change.

This is very true n the first time i heard it i fell in love wit it...John Mayer is right bout many things on the song but the world is changin n the thing is that is changin 2 bad things n not good!! but other than that this song is beast!!

Catchy tune -- but the lyrics? Dude: did Martin Luther King just sit around and "wait" for the world to change? Or Gandhi? Or ACT-UP? No, they got up and changed the world, right at the moment it seemed most impossible. Sounds like he's saying it's just too "hard," so we should all just do nothing. Cop-out, man - you're better than that.

I think the song is ok. But John Mayer just needs to stop. I don't, we as listeners don't, need John Mayer to tell us how to see the world and telling us that it needs to change. The world is changing John, and your helping by making it all sissy. Just stop[ singing about the world and go back to singing about your girlfriend and her mom. But I will admit the song is catchy.
