this IS a pretty sad story of her mom leaving her when she was young and moved to california and didnt wasnt to while SHE stayed in Carolina and she had her mothers eyes so it was hard to look in te mirror someimtes, sad story huh?
Kellie, you are just the sweetest thing! I loved you on American Idol and voted for you numerous times every week, and just knew that even though you didn't win, you'd be a country music star someday! Your natural sweetness and beauty, combined with your awesome country style voice, makes for one great combination! I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see you succeed in either television or movies, too, as you have a wonderful natural ability in front of a camera, too! Those gorgeous eyes really capture the viewer and you just seem so 'real'! (And you do remind me a LOT of your idol, Dolly Parton - from your country twang to your acting, to your beautiful figure!) From a saying that I gave my daughter on a statue when she was a little girl, who was and is a beauty like you with a fabulous voice... 'Reach for the moon, as the least you can do is fall among the stars!' And I truly believe you are on your way to becoming a BIG one! Sincerely, a fan in Waterloo, IA
From the first time you walked out on American Idol right up to the end, you had that special charisma that draws people to you. You are real and people love that about you. Your voice and expressions in "I Wonder" just brings out the heart and soul you have. As a mom, I have one thing to say. Your mom gave you much more than just your brown eyes........without those life experiences or lack of them you would not be who you are. The person you are is very special and you are giving people something they need....you have shared yourself with us. Forgiveness is a simple word and it IS very hard to do. Forgiving her in your heart can free something inside of us, but if she has not asked for forgiveness, you are not obligated to give it. I think in your heart you have come to understanding if not forgiveness. To forgive is to heal and move forward. I think you really have done that or you would not be the person we see and hear and love. However, you should never forget what she did. To forget what someone else has done to us is to ignore the hurt and dismiss it. You can never dismiss the hurt and pretend it was not there. It is a part of what makes you who you are today and part of that is what draws others to you. Your sincerity is a blessing to all of us. You not only share your hurt and grief with us but also laughter. I cracked up when you told us all your real last name on TV. We were laughing so hard you made my day. Keep that special person you are and if you ever need a moms hug or love, just remember there are thousands of moms out here that love you!!
very hottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
This song tugs at my heart. My children lost their mother and I lost my wife of 19 years in 1999. My children (24 and 21) love the song, but hurt too much when they listen to it. I love the song and cry every time I listen to it which is every day."I Wonder" is up there with "The Dance" and "I Will Always Love You" as an extraordinary song. Kellie's CD is terrific. "I Wonder" stands alone for me and my children.

I had to watch this video a few times before I could objectively write a review. First just let me say that Kellie's voice is absolutely beautiful. I was captivated by her facial acting during the scenes in the video. The way she portrays the sadness underneath just blew me away. Being a guy it's hard to admit that this video moved me to tears. I understand the loss of a parent, though I was older than Kellie. Please keep up the good work. I can't wait to hear My Angel and see its video!

i believe that song was a dream come true for many of us. every time i hear "i wonder" i start crying and getting the chills. i can relate to her 100% and i am so sorry that we have endured a lifetime of hurt from it.
