With lyrics that take a cliché and twist it around, the narrator getting over the guy who dumped her rather than moping, "Since U Been Gone" is a nice change from the usual. Kelly Clarkson even has a good voice and is able to control it. Unfortunately, her music is nothing special.

This song when it first came out i had broken up with my boyf cause i found out he liked someone else and this song was my "constant companion" and helped me get over him , i really love her songs
