This was a great album. Alive one of the best songs on it along with Porch, Release Me, Even Flow, etc.

They rock !And this is ,by my opinion ,one of the greatest song in grunge history.

since they release this song i always travelling and enjoy life, it is cool to be alive, pearl jam you are something realy special

When I was 13 my mother told me the man that has raised me was not my real father. My real father was from Alaska and went to jail. This song speaks to me in so many ways (other than the incest Eddie hints at). I was really too young to be in the "scene" when this song was new, but I haven't been the same since I've heard it. At least I'm still alive, I don't know my real Dad, but I'm still Alive.
