This has always been one of my all-time favorite Sarah songs. And yes, it is about her stalker. He wrote letters to her and she uses his words in her lyrics... especially the chorus. I think it was very brave of her to do.

well actually, someone did stalk her and at the end killed himself after he thought he would meet Sarah. she wrote this song because him, she tried to put herself in her shoes and wrote this awesome song that is the top fav for me. so anyway he tried to sue her saying she stoled the song from him......

A stalker? Try to be deeper than a kiddy pool, alright? Songs are always inspired by something, for sure, but this song is about loving someone with every inch of you. Call it stalking, love, obsession, or possession? Any individual who allows themselves to feel or fall completely in love with someone else can see the other persons every angle and feeling. Perhaps enough so to write a song passionate enough about it to where it seems like a song about a stalker.

Maybe some people like myself are not as interested in the lyrics as much as the way the song makes you feel. Although you say it was written by sarah about a stalker i dont hear that when i listen to it.

Ummm....yes, it's a great, great song....but listening to it with your significant other? Maybe if you're a psycho control-freak. You do realize this song was written by Sarah to help herself deal with a psychotic stalker, right? She went to court over it... Listen to the lyrics again...

I have alwyas loved this song!! It's a very passionate song and GREAT to listen to with your significant other!! ;)
