Til Tuesday has always been a dark horse in the mainstream - and has produced some of the most well-written songs of this genre.
Aimee Mann has that haunted demeaner about her that flows into her ballads, and draws the listener (and watcher) into it. "Coming Up Close" has always been my favorite of the groups releases. Still is.
