I love your intellectual viewpoint, I can completely understand what you mean. Hmmm I felt she was mocking advertising's hollowness which is interesting, although you seem more informed about Tori Amos than myself. I do agree with you about the intimacy of her first albums...

Come on! We know tori's skinny.. these glamour shots are great but gimme a video that's real. This is awful for a video. i can't stand it. i wanna see her move for real, not camera stills. and the moving stills a la imovie don't work for me. just film in a bath, in the woods, anything. just do natural tori anything. upsetting.

Definitely Tori's worst video. She needs to be on her piano stool sitting sideways.

Tori Amos at her quirky and disturbingly sexy best. Which one is your favourite?

Amazing. 100% caught up with the new mileniam. Outstanding preformance! Head-over-Heels lyrics! Many thanks!

I love the song, and I love Tori, and I love the pics, but even though it's a really fun video, I didn't think it was that good.

Seems like a "conceptual" album and a conceptual video....absolutely like advertising. The last 2 albums have definately been going for the head where the others were aiming for the gut punch. That is what made them so intimate. Trully a difficult position to be in-though I think people probably could relate to the music before on a personal level-this seems hard to relate to as it is so situated in this "star melodrama" that most of us have not ever had access to. The endless photographs....the hollow shell left by the advertising machine....Maybe that is why I don't like it. It is telling me something I already know in my mind...and it is not like there is an edge in there. there is no subjectivity in it. That is why I say absolutely like advertising. Sort of this tepid middle of the road idea that is pretty close to the way we all think. I am surrounded in advertisement all day long. what people want is honesty...In this vast net of human experience, certainly we can't all be catching the same thing.
